The Nike Free 5.0 is a new addition to Nike’s barefoot series Free. The shoe comes in a various of colors and you can also customize your own unique shoe by using the NikeiD service at Nike.com. Compered to previous models Nike has now done some changes on the sole that makes the shoe more flexible when turning in all directions and have also included a more rounded heal that give your movement a better flow if you land your heals down first, and you can also find some discrete changes in the upper part design. The Nike Free 5.0 is further away from the barefoot feel than any of the other models in the series but is thereby also more human for the not so experienced barefoot runner.
Nike Free 5.0 Review
- Light weight.
- Simple and easily likable design.
- An big functional improvement from previous models.
- Can rub uncomfortable against the side of the foot (try thoroughly before buying).
- Still a barefoot feel, not suitable for everyone.
